The incident, which unfolded around 9:30 p.m. on May 20, 2025, involved an adult male allegedly attempting to meet a juvenile for a potential sexual encounter, according to Collegedale Police.

Officers responded to the Chick-fil-A located at 8959 Old Lee Highway after a report was made. Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials observed a vehicle leaving the scene that had been identified by a restaurant employee.

A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver was identified as 29-year-old Bradley Zach Wolchuk.

According to police, Wolchuk “appeared visibly nervous and was observed attempting to delete content from his phone during the interaction.”

Following an initial investigation, Wolchuk admitted to having engaged in sexually explicit communication with a 17-year-old male he had met earlier that day.

The police release states that “according to Mr. Wolchuk’s own statement, he had offered the juvenile a tattoo in exchange for sexual favors.”

The situation was brought to the attention of authorities when “the juvenile and a manager at the restaurant contacted police immediately upon Mr. Wolchuk’s return to the location.”

Wolchuk was subsequently taken into custody and faces several charges, including solicitation of a minor, trafficking for a commercial sex act, and unlawful removal of registration.

Chief Jack Sapp commended the swift response of his officers, stating, “Our officers acted quickly and professionally to prevent a serious crime.” He further expressed gratitude for the crucial role played by the community, adding, “We are grateful for the cooperation of the business staff and the victim, whose timely report allowed us to intervene.”
