BRADENTON, FL — Authorities say a Florida man sent pictures of toddlers he had beaten to their mother, who he was also allegedly abusing.

Anthony Reyes-Enos, 22, was arrested on multiple charges of battery, including allegations of punching a pregnant woman and abusing her two children.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said deputies received reports of child abuse on March 26 and later learned of a domestic disturbance involving Reyes-Enos and his 23-year-old pregnant girlfriend in the 300 block of 58th Avenue East in Bradenton, Florida.

According to the female victim, the couple had been arguing, and Reyes-Enos assaulted her over two days, including punching her in the stomach. She managed to escape the residence to call for help.

After she left, Reyes-Enos reportedly sent her numerous photos of her two children, aged 1 year and 2 years, showing various bruises and wounds, indicating that they had been beaten, police said.

When deputies arrived at the residence, they discovered the children suffering from multiple lacerations, bruising, and swelling.

Both children were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The mother was also taken to the hospital for injuries she sustained during the abuse.

Anthony Reyes-Enos has been charged with Felony Domestic Battery by Strangulation, Aggravated Battery on a Pregnant Woman, Tampering with a 911 Call, False Imprisonment, and two counts of Aggravated Child Abuse.

The case is still under investigation.
