Police are not searching for a suspect, and a law enforcement source familiar with the case told the newspaper that early evidence points to a multiple murder-suicide. The source was not authorized to speak publicly about the investigation.
Officials did not immediately release the ages or genders of the victims beyond confirming that two were adults and two were children. Helicopter footage captured by NBC4 showed police tape stretched across part of the residential street while a large number of emergency responders gathered at the scene.
The investigation remained active Wednesday night as detectives worked to determine exactly what happened inside the home.
