Authorities recently provided an update on the case of Sebastian Rogers, who disappeared from his Tennessee home nearly 10 months ago.

The Amber Alert for Rogers, who recently turned 16, is still active.

“It’s not a cold case. It is an active and ongoing investigation,” said Sumner County Sheriff Eric Craddock in an interview with News Channel 5.

Sheriff Craddock has been closely involved in the case since Sebastian went missing from his Hendersonville home on February 26.

Despite investigators following up on hundreds of tips, no confirmed sightings of Sebastian have been reported. As a result, unfounded rumors from unreliable sources continue to circulate online.

“Well, it’s real easy to sit on social media and make those comments,” Sheriff Craddock noted.

While updates have been scarce in recent months, Craddock confirmed that the investigative team meets weekly to review the case.

Sebastian is described as a 16-year-old white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds. He has dirty blonde hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Anyone with information about Sebastian’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-451-3838 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the whereabouts of Rogers.
