LOS ANGELES, CA — An Israeli woman is accused of using dating apps and social media to lure older men and steal from them, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities identified Adva Lavie, 27, as the suspect in a series of alleged burglaries targeting older men. Lavie, a model who has appeared in Playboy and Penthouse magazines and promotes herself as the first top Israeli OnlyFans creator, is accused of gaining victims’ trust before stealing from their homes.
Lavie allegedly posed as a romantic companion to get access to victims’ homes, where she stole cash, credit cards and luxury items, as reported by The Hill. Authorities say she has victimized at least 10 men in Malibu and other areas of Los Angeles County.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department described Lavie as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 104 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is known to drive a black Porsche SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan, and reportedly uses several aliases, including Mia Ventura, Shoshana and Shana.
In addition to targeting men through dating platforms, Lavie is accused of stealing from women at public events. Michael Sartain, host of the “Access Vegas” podcast, told KTLA that Lavie stole credit cards and cash from female panelists during a special election night taping. Sartain said Lavie entered the greenroom and went through the purses of multiple guests.
Sartain also said Lavie has attended charity events at clubs in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and has threatened victims to prevent them from reporting her to police. He claimed Lavie would threaten to file false sexual assault allegations or claim that men offered her money for sex.
Eden Lynn, one of the women present that night, said Lavie attempted to use her American Express card to book a hair appointment at a Beverly Hills salon under the name Mia Ventura. Lynn said she contacted the salon and confirmed the booking details through receipts and text messages.
Adult film actor Codey Steele told KTLA that Lavie also stole designer items from him and others while working with a party company in France. The group was staying at an Airbnb when Lavie allegedly took luxury goods while others were out. French authorities were called and reportedly compelled Lavie to return the stolen items.
Jail records show Lavie was last arrested in May on a felony charge and later released on bail. Authorities have not confirmed whether that charge is related to the alleged burglaries.
Lavie currently remains at large.
Detectives from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station are asking anyone who may have interacted with Lavie to contact Detective Lopez at 818-878-1808 or LAPD Detective Marsh at 818-374-9500.
Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 800-222-TIPS (8477), using the P3 Tips app, or visiting lacrimestoppers.org.
